How to sync Sublime Text 3 packages and settings across multiple computers with Google Drive on Windows 10

Step 1

Close the Sublime Text app

Step 2

Open command prompt and “Run as administrator”

Step 3

Download and install Google Drive aka Backup and Sync

Step 4

Create the primary folder inside of your Google Drive folder on your Windows PC

Step 5

Delete the user folder inside of your sublime install

You can either delete the user folder inside of sublime or you can copy/paste it into the location above

Step 6

Create a symlink to your new google drive folder

Note: if you copy/paste your contents from your folder from above back into this folder, Sublime will restore 100% back to where you previously had it configured
