Magento Upgrade, 1.5.0.1 to 1.6.0.0

Magento was recently *acquired* by eBay (link)

so I for sure thought this would delay their release schedule for 1.6.0.0. I was mistaken as they released the new version on August 18, 2011 (link).

I ran the following from the command via an SSH connection and *only* had one problem with the last command.

rm -rf /var/cache session
./mage mage-setup .
./mage config-set preferred_state stable
./mage list-installed
./mage list-upgrades
./mage install http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community Mage_All_Latest –force
./shell php indexer.php reindexall

Problem with the last command:

All of the upgrade went fine besides the last command:

./shell php indexer.php reindexall

I have to do the following to get it to reindexall properly:

php /full/path/shell/indexer.php reindexall

After that, Magento 1.6 works like a charm!
